Hi, I’m Elise!

My journey to being an artist didn't start in a gallery, with a defining moment of artistic clarity…it actually started on the school run when another Mum spotted a painting l'd made purely for myself and asked whether it was for sale. What a thrill it was to sell my first piece!

That is the moment the story begins, because it captures the essence that runs through absolutely everything I make: the idea that the version of you you’ve envisioned was always there, you just needed the confidence to find it. I see it in my work and I see it in the women who end up collecting it.

‍‍My art practice gained momentum when I was selected from over 900 applicants for a major exhibition in Rome - an exciting turning point that propelled my work onto the international stage. Since then, my original figurative paintings and fine art prints have been shown in Paris, New York, Madrid, Lisbon and London and my work now lives in collectors' homes across the UK, Europe, North America and Australia!
